Excellent sushi roll combinations, some had very tasty sauces or toppings! We loved the huge rolls... they were super satisfying! Tempura was very tasty! Prices were very reasonable for such artistic and large rolls. Excellent customer service too!
This is my favourite sushi place locally. Quality sushi, good prices, great specials and combo options. My reason for giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that occasionally the quality isn't quite as high -- rolls less artfully rolled, tempura not quite as perfectly fried, presentation not quite as elegant -- I think because the usual chef is not working.
These guys are good - super friendly, good sushi. They're fast and treat families well.
I went here for my lunch earlier and Hi Sushi left me with great impression. $8.99 Special definitely was worth it for me. I had 2 different rolls with Chicken Karaage and Miso soup all this left my tummy full.Yam Tempura Roll and Salmon Roll looked somewhat small, but I was full after eating Chicken Karaage. My dining experience here was SO worth it because the sushi rolls and Karaage came out fresh. Also Karaage pieces were big, and that was a HUGE turn on! I think it's owned by Koreans as they have Soju on the drink menu. Service was great. Waitress asked me how the food was, and I really had to leave 5 star review because of reasonable price and a good portion.
Excellent sushi and rolls and great, fast, and attentive service. Our server was very friendly and the food was delicious. Will definitely come back again next time Im in Vancouver.
