Typical department store offering food, pharmacy, stationery, cosmetics, clothing, housewares, electronics, videos, hardware, etc. at a reasonable price. I personally like that I can special order a hard-to-find shampoo through the pharmacy. This particular store is somewhat limited in selection compared to the nearby Queensborough Landing location, but is close by and part of Royal City Centre Mall where other stores and services are available.
The prices are far less than Save-On-Food or Safeway, same brand products lower prices. They currently have Turkeys on Sale $10.00 $15.00 and $20.00 - we bought one the other day and we can eat off it for a week. Chicken prices vary from $10.00 - $11.00. The produce section is full of fresh veggies and fruits. They open early so get there early to beat the afternoon rush.
Good place to shop in uptown New West. Food prices are better than the competition. Fruit and vegetable selection and quality not great. I prefer Langley Farmers Market for them.
Well, I can't comment about the other sections of the store, but for their electronics department, they were almost useless. We were searching for a Chromebook or a cheap laptop for travelling with, and finally after a lot of looking around we settled on one. They said it wasn't in stock even though they were displaying it. Fine, so we went with the second choice (while they were standing there watching us decide). Nope, it's not in stock either. When we asked if we could at least buy the demo unit, we were cheerfully told that it was impossible. Great, thanks for wasting our time!
A dependable place for shopping for every day needs.I have shopped for supplies and recently I have shopped for food.Prices are really competitive. Quality also good. They have some organic produce. But, I would like more choices for organic produce.A good place for shopping for children's clothing and for school supplies.
