Nice staff. Good selection of Gluten free/Dairy free items. Prices have improved but some items are still too high priced for the market.
Our favourite closest Safeway The produce are always fresh, the store is always tidy and clean, they offer professional costumer service. The best deals we like on fruits, especially the organic raspberries on small baskets, but the volume is double than the double portions at Save on Foods.
We shop almost exclusively at Safeway. People are swell, selection is great. What's not to like? 5 stars if they focused a little more on ethic food, wholesome/organic food and foods for people with dietary restrictions (celiac, diabetic, vegan). Its not that they dont carry some of these things, but it's usually a tiny section tucked away...
Good for Airmiles. Especially on 'Blue Friday's that happen now and then. Sometimes they give gas coupons for Shell. Quality of fresh food is somewhat lacking. Attractive decor, makes shopping feel a little more enjoyable.
